The challenge

The 4x4x48 Challenge is an exalting test of human resilience. Participants commit to running 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours straight. It's not just a physical challenge; it's a mental battle that pushes you beyond your perceived limits.

We are encouraging participation In ALL forms-
Whether you want to join us for one run, support other runners, walk or do the entire challenge with us!

Join us for this year's challenge at Horizen Gym and fueled by PrimeSelf!

The sleeping sitch:

Feel free to pack a weekend bag and make use of the space as your home base. While we're excited to provide the venue, please note that we won't be offering additional amenities, so be sure to bring your sleeping essentials, toiletries, premade food, and anything else you may need.

The nutrition game plan:

To get you going: The Prime Day sachets to replenish electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and get a boost when you need it most.

To keep you sustained: The carb drink/protein mix when/as needed during the event.
Bottles will be provided to scoop into/drink from.

After everyone is done kicking ass and is finished, we’ve got a sachet of Prime Night lined up to switch off, recover and get some much needed sleep!

The Route

We will be doing a loop starting across Arthurs Rd in Sea Point and will be doing 3.2km out and then 3.2km back along the prom.

There will be a 'chill zone' at our meeting point that will have refreshments along with shade and lounging space.

Do I have to do the entire challenge?
Absolutely not, you're welcome to join us for as many or as little runs.

I'd love to participate but am nervous I'm not fit enough.
This challenge isn't about pace, speed or time, It's about showing up for yourself. Go at your own pace.

Will there be drinks provided?
Yes, there will be some drinks provided by some amazing local brands after each run.

Includes a 7 week training program, goodie bag, a pair of UP socks and nutrition from PrimeSelf.
